Join Montgomery Chamber Music Organization in celebrating a unique, re-imagined, and unforgettable season of empowering concerts. We invite you to partner with us in honoring the dream of the three founders of MCMO. Their vision was to present exciting concerts by world-acclaimed chamber music artists and share the joys of live performances. The heart of their dream - to leave a legacy of excellence.
Due to the shifting demands of the pandemic, MCMO's Fall and Winter concerts will be different. Together with The Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center, we will present 5 excellent concerts, digitally streaming, from their Front Row: National concert series. These concerts begin in September and conclude in early December.
For MCMO's 2021 Winter and Spring concerts, three live concerts are planned. Historically, chamber music concerts have always required nimble actions with creative adaption, which may be true this season. The health and safety of our audience and all others involved in the concerts is of great importance to MCMO.
The Doric Quartet with Benjamin Grosvenor, pianist, will open our series. They are based in London and are anxious to play here having already secured their visas. Returning in March is the exciting Hermitage Piano Trio. We welcome them back. The season closes with the superb Jerusalem Quartet who will be coming direct from their performance at Carnegie Hall. ... We hope to have a Spring Luncheon to precede the Matinee performance of the Hermitage Piano Trio. More information will be forthcoming as the pandemic guidelines allow. Many of you already hold tickets for this event and we are committed to having it for you in a safe way. The Receptions following the concerts will depend on the guidelines for social gatherings.
